Sustainable yachting takes another leap forward with the new Greenline 42, debuting in 2026. Combining advanced hybrid propulsion, increased solar power, and exceptional comfort, this next-generation cruiser is designed for boaters who value innovation and efficiency on the water.
As the exclusive dealer for Greenline Yachts in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and beyond, Derani Yachts is proud to introduce this exciting evolution in responsible boating to Southeast Asia.

Greenline Yachts has long been a pioneer in hybrid propulsion and solar-assisted cruising. The new Greenline 42 expands on that legacy with a hardtop covered in ten 430W solar panels, generating a total output of 4.3kW — nearly 67% more capacity than the Greenline 40.
This enhanced solar coverage allows the yacht to power all onboard systems and recharge its 6kWh battery bank even faster, ensuring quiet nights at anchor and extended time off-grid. It’s a significant leap from the early days of the Greenline 33, launched in 2008 with just six 125W panels — a model that helped start a movement toward sustainable yachting.

The Greenline 42 is designed and built in Slovenia with naval architecture by MICAD, optimising hull performance for smooth and efficient cruising. Powered by twin 250hp Yanmar engines, the yacht reaches an impressive 25 knots, outperforming the Greenline 40 with identical propulsion.
For eco-conscious owners, the Greenline 6G H-Drive hybrid system offers twin 23kW electric motors and intelligent energy management. The result is silent, emission-free operation and up to 20 nautical miles of electric range at five knots — perfect for exploring bays, marinas, and marine parks in complete tranquillity.

Designed by Marco Casali of Too Design, the Greenline 42 is the most customisable yacht in the brand’s lineup to date. The cockpit is available in two versions — a clean layout with a fold-out transom, or a social configuration with a long dining table, facing sofas, and side gates.
Inside, Casali’s modern yet timeless interior is available in Honey Teak or Modern Oak finishes, with flexible options such as an additional saloon sofa or a choice between an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, or vanity in the master suite.
Sliding galley windows connect the interior with the cockpit, creating the seamless indoor-outdoor flow Greenline owners love.

“The Greenline 42 was an exciting challenge,” says designer Marco Casali. “We needed to follow the huge success of other models while adding even more comfort and a more modern shape — all while respecting the timeless lines that define the Greenline family.”

With its powerful solar array, efficient hull, and flexible hybrid system, the Greenline 42 represents another bold step in responsible yachting. For boaters across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the region, it brings together advanced technology, modern design, and the comforts of home — all with a smaller environmental footprint.
