This Bénéteau Oceanis 40 CC is a centre-cockpit cruising yacht built in 1999 and designed by the renowned Groupe Finot. Designed as a comfortable, liveaboard friendly blue water cruiser, the model is well known for its safety, ease of short-handed sailing, and exceptionally spacious interior.
It has a spacious full-beam master cabin with a generous walkaround berth, ample storage, and an en-suite head with shower. There is a well-equipped linear galley located to port leading from the aft cabin to the saloon offering abundant work surfaces and storage. The saloon is bright and inviting with a U-shaped sofa to starboard with an expandable dining table, and excellent headroom. The forward guest cabin has a double berth to starboard with a seat and wardrobe storage to port and ensuite head with shower forward.
On deck there is a teak centre cockpit with comfortable U-shaped seating and a sugar-scoop stern with integrated swim platform and swim ladder. The large dinghy davit has solar panels above and storage for the two outboard engines, one 4 hp and one 15hp. The mainsail is in mast furling and the genoa is roller furling for ease of sail handling. There is excellent engine access to the 54 HP Yanmar engine via the companionway steps.
With its large aft cabin and bright, comfortable interior this Beneteau Oceanis 40cc is well suited to extended cruising or liveaboard life.
