These yachts epitomize the perfect blend of luxury, sustainability, and comfort, setting new standards for environmentally-conscious individuals who seek seamless travel experiences. Let’s dive into the world of next-gen hybrid systems and silent eco-performance that redefine the art of yachting.

Greenline 48 Fly

Derani Yachts is thrilled to announce the sale of Singapore’s first Greenline 48 Fly, setting a new standard for eco-conscious luxury on the island nation.  This latest generation yacht offers silent eco-performance, as well as increased speed and comfort, all thanks to its world-class design.

The next-gen hybrid system is comprised of Greenline’s super displacement hull design and the diesel/electric propulsion system, making it the perfect vessel for those who demand sustainability and efficiency.  It’s the ultimate choice for environmentally-conscious individuals in Singapore who appreciate both sustainability and seamless travel experiences.

You’ll feel like you’re on a much larger boat than a 48, and with features such as the saloon and cockpit, it’s truly a boat owner’s dream. The Greenline 48 Fly is the ultimate vessel for those who seek luxury, sustainability, and comfort.

With the ability to collect, store, and use electrical energy from the sun, shore pick-up, or main engine-driven generator, Greenline Yachts is a mobile power station that provides a constant supply of AC power (230 or 120 VAC) onboard.

Greenline 40

One of the most silent boats on the market today is on it’s way to tropical Thailand.  The Greenline 40 delivers a whisper-like hum at cruising speed, making sure you never have to compromise on comfort while underway or when recharging the batteries.

The first Greenline stock boat for Derani Yachts will be arriving in the kingdom before the years end, in-time for the 2024 Thailand International Boat Show 2024 (TIBS) in January.

Experience the ultimate in extended cruising with the Greenline 40. It’s the perfect yacht for those who want to enjoy their time on the water in complete peace and serenity, without sacrificing the comforts of home.

Greenline 58 Fly – 5 Hours of Tranquil Electric Displacement Cruising

The latest flagship from the Slovenian hybrid and electric yacht builder had its world premiere at the recent Cannes Yachting Festival. The Greenline 58 Fly is a collaboration between Greenline Yachts, the inventive designer Marco Casali of Too-Design, and the pioneering engineering prowess of MICAD.

The Greenline 58 Fly is a well-suited luxury yacht for tropical regions like Southeast Asia. Equipped with 11 strategically positioned solar panels, it generates 3.6kW of power, making it ideal for regions with abundant sunshine. The yacht’s adaptable systems and spacious living areas provide comfort and convenience, while the energy-efficient design ensures reliable air conditioning even in remote tropical coves.

Join Greenline’s chief sales & marketing officer Luca Raumland on this comprehensive tour of the yards newest flagship, the Greenline 58 Fly.

The 58 Fly’s main deck, which stretches across a single level and features an aft galley, ingeniously melds the saloon and cockpit into a spacious and seamless living and entertainment area. The forward cut-outs provide awe-inspiring water views, and the accommodation deck abounds with innovative elements designed to enhance your onboard experience.

Greenline Yachts is leading the charge in this exciting sphere of modern boating and has been producing solar-equipped hybrid boats. The Greenline hybrid concept uses four times less fossil fuel than a planing powerboat in similar conditions.

The yacht’s single-level main deck, complete with an aft galley, offers a harmonious blend of the saloon and cockpit, crafting an expansive living and entertaining space. The thoughtfully designed forward cut-outs serve as picturesque windows to the sea from the lower deck. The Greenline’s signature aft galley layout leads to a generous accommodation deck teeming with inventive features.

Hybrid power represents one of the most ecologically responsible choices in the realm of boating today, and Slovenia-based Greenline has been at the forefront of this concept for a significant period. The 58 Fly, boasting a weight of 30 tonnes, stands as a substantial luxury cruiser, set to be officially unveiled in 2022, boldly championing the cause of renewable energy.

Weight reduction is a central focus in the 58 Fly’s engineering, as Greenline recognizes that every tonne saved equates to a gain in speed. Carbon fiber is extensively used throughout the boat, especially in the hardtop and superstructure, ensuring that the vessel remains lightweight.

For owners requiring a crew cabin, a single berth or bunk bed configuration is available. However, on owner-operated vessels, this area with 1.8 meters of headroom can serve as a utility space or workshop, offering valuable storage for extended stays on board. At the stern, an extended hydraulic platform with a 500kg lift capacity serves as a versatile water-level bathing platform or facilitates the easy retrieval of tenders. The Greenline 58 Fly represents a groundbreaking leap into a new era of sustainable luxury boating.

With ample outdoor spaces, sunbathing areas, and protection from the sun, the 58 Fly is well-prepared to let passengers fully enjoy the tropical paradise. Its seaworthiness and durability are also well-suited to the conditions often encountered in tropical waters, making it an excellent choice for those seeking an eco-friendly and luxurious boating experience in Southeast Asia.

Singapore Yachting Festival 2023 – BRABUS Marine and Axopar Premieres

The recent Singapore Yachting Festival was a resounding success, attracting over 9,000 attendees who were treated to a spectacle of 55 yachts and 74 exhibitors. The event marked the much-anticipated return of yacht shows in Asia. One of the highlights was the unveiling of the BRABUS Shadow 500 Cabin and the Axopar 22 T-Top by Derani Yachts, making their debut in Singapore.

A noteworthy feature of the festival was the ONE°15 Marina Club’s extensive $7 million renovation in Sentosa Cove. This marina, one of three in Singapore catering to superyachts, underwent the renovation primarily to enhance berthing efficiency. General Manager Jonathan Sit expressed that the demand for larger boats became evident shortly after the marina’s opening in 2007.

Local brokers were selling vessels in the 24-30 meter range, but the marina could only accommodate boats up to 18 meters. Recognizing the need to adapt to market demands, the renovation successfully increased berthing capacity by 18% per berth and doubled the number of superyacht moorings. Despite these significant improvements, the marina is already operating at full capacity, with a waiting list of approximately 80 vessels.

This shortage of available berthing space is expected to worsen as luxury yachts in Asia continue to grow in size. Prominent builders in the region, such as Taiwan’s Horizon Yacht and Fleming Yachts shipyards, contribute to the rising demand for berths.

Turning back to the festival’s highlights, the BRABUS Shadow made a lasting impression by embarking on a remarkable journey of over 1,000 nautical miles from Phuket to Singapore and back, braving challenging seas. The awe-inspiring superboat attracted attention with its gorgeous glacier blue camo wrap, cutting-edge technology and mesmerizing performance, captivating the crowd throughout the three-day event.

Another standout at the festival was the highly acclaimed Axopar 22 T-Top, which made its premiere in Singapore. This vessel, renowned for its exceptional performance, comfort, and convenience, garnered significant interest from boating enthusiasts seeking year-round adventures on the water.

The resounding success of the Singapore Yachting Festival underscores the immense interest in the marine lifestyle in Singapore and the broader region. It serves as a testament to the continuous growth and maturation of the yachting industry, signaling an exciting future ahead.
