"We are pleased to report some strong leads from the first day of PIMEX 2014 and the staff of Derani Yachts have been busy shuttling between Phuket Boat Lagoon and the Pimex exhibition area, showing several brokerage boats that we have for sale," concluded broker Hakan Lange after closing time in the Royal Phuket Marina.
"Initial numbers of visitors were moderate but nevertheless strong with people actually looking for a boat for the season and. As with all shows, this is an opportunity to make new contacts, and then the work in quoting, showing, sea trailing begins as we get back to the office next week."
The Pursuit Offshore 315 located on C-1 had a steady string of visitors and will no doubt be out for sea-trials after the show.
Also the Fairline model had its effect on visitors.
"The Squadron 50 located at C-2 inwater display surprised many by her sheer size; most visitors could not believe that she is actually 'only' a 50 footer as she feels so much bigger!" says Hakan.
The indoors display of the top-notch Sanlorenzo products received many positive compliments for its presentation and the obvious luxury it represents. Sanlorenzo is surprisingly the only true Superyacht builder showcasing its product at Pimex through its Thailand country representative, Derani Yachts.
