Singapore Yacht Show Set to Transform Yachting Scene

April 8, 2013 / Boat News

The Singapore Yacht Show, which runs from April 18-21 2013, is delighted to announce new media partnerships with Robb Report and Billionaire.com.

The relationships will allow this year’s exhibitors to magnify their exposure through pre- and post-show coverage in these illustrious online and print publications.

As a prelude to the three day show, global luxury publication Robb Report will co-produce the inaugural summit, ‘Luxury Keynotes: Understanding Wealth in Asia’. The forum will be held at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, on the 19th of April, and will explore the trends, challenges and innovative strategies that benefit or impact the luxury market in Asia.

Michael von Schlippe, Publisher of Robb Report Singapore commented: “We bring together experts, analysts and consultants who will present their research and findings. They’ll be joined by top executives from luxury brands and marketers who will share their experiences in understanding the purchasing behavior of UHNWIs in Asia. I’m sure we will learn a lot about who our customer is and what his or her preferences are when it comes to buying luxury products or using premium services.”

Meanwhile Billionaire.com, the online and print luxury magazine, aims to connect exhibitors with ultra high net worth individuals through its presence at the show.

Christian Barker, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, said: “We are proud to partner with Singapore Yacht Show as its Premium Digital Media Partner. The interest in luxury yachting, aviation and automobiles has seen a tremendous growth in this region, and it is evident that all eyes of the world are on Asia as the new destination of luxury.”

These exclusive new media partnerships further uphold the growing reputation of the Singapore Yacht Show, now in its third year.

This year’s show will be more than double the size of the last, showcasing some of the world’s most exciting and impressive boats, superyachts, luxury cars, fine art and luxury property exhibitors, as well as hosting glamorous parties and international business conferences.

The Singapore Yacht Show has grown to become a yachting event that rivals some of the most important boat shows in the world, thanks to the support of the local yachting and boating industry and its sponsors and partners.

Andy Treadwell, Managing Director of organisers Singapore Yacht Events says, “In terms of the significance of the event, and the quality of its exhibitors, there is little doubt that the Singapore Yacht Show is playing a very significant part in positioning Singapore as the South East Asia business hub for the international yachting and boating industry”.
