The Greenline 40 hybrid yacht is easily accessed from the dock through boarding doors on both the port and starboard sides of the cockpit. An extension of the hardtop above the cockpit provides a measure of protection from the elements, and coupled with generous dimensions the cockpit will surely become a major entertainment area. There are built in aft corner seats both port and starboard. The port corner seat provides storage, while the starboard seat covers the shore power connections. The transom folds down to provide a useful deck when boarding or disembarking a dinghy. The aft bulkhead of the main cabin may be folded up to eliminate any barrier between the cockpit and the galley and a fold out extension of the galley countertop creates an ideal place for serving food and beverages. Upon entering the main cabin, the galley is situated most aft. A solid surface countertop, molded-in sink, convection cooktop, and microwave oven are oriented to port. A full size refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment is opposite the walkway to starboard. Lockers and drawers are abundant as well as conveniently located and thoughtfully designed in the galley area of the Greenline 40 hybrid yacht.
The salon is characterized by plenty of headroom as well as large windows on both sides. The dinette area is forward of the galley, large enough to convert to an additional double bunk if required. There is stowage below the settee, and upholstery options include both vinyl and leather. The lines of the vessel permit great visibility from the salon, even when seated. The master stateroom enjoys private access to the head, which includes a dedicated shower stall. An additional doorway to the head facilitates its use as a day head. The additional doorway is immediately across the companionway from the entrance to the guest stateroom. Two single bunks in the guest stateroom slide together when desired to create a queen size berth. Conveniences include a hanging locker, one port light, several stowage areas, a built-in seat, as well as a sliding ceiling panel that will introduce additional fresh air and light.
The Greenline hybrid system uses electric drive motors, mounted on the shaft just aft of the diesel engines. At lower speeds, the Greenline 40 hybrid yacht glides along on electric power alone in almost total silence. When cruising through a no wake zone or enjoying a sunset trip around the harbour there’s no need to engage the diesel engines at all. Electric only range is up to about 20 nautical miles, depending upon wind, current, and other variables. When more speed is desired the yacht runs on the diesel engines to turn the drive shaft and the electric drive motors automatically convert to generators and recharge the battery banks. The batteries also recharge when connected to shore power, and through a system of solar voltaic panels affixed to the cabin top of the Greenline 40 hybrid yacht.
Experience the ultimate in extended cruising with the Greenline 40. It's the perfect yacht for those who want to enjoy their time on the water in complete peace and serenity, without sacrificing the comforts of home.
