A Swedish national with extensive pleasure boating experience, Håkan spent 15 years in the merchant navy and holds a Master Mariner’s ticket. Having lived in Asia since 1990, his knowledge of the industry and the region is second to none. “It is a true pleasure to go to work every day,” he says, “to enjoy dealing with boats and meet interesting people. I consider myself to be very fortunate.”
Ian is originally from Wales but Phuket is now home and he has been with us since 2014. Devoted to the marine lifestyle, as well as being a PADI diving instructor Ian is also an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor. His positive attitude and energy to find new homes for the boats that we offer for sale makes dealing with Derani Yachts a pleasant and positive experience for both the seller and the buyer.
