Asia’s Favourite Boat Show!

7 – 10 January 2010
PIMEX 2010 is nearly here and for those folks that aren’t aware is a marine and lifestyle exhibition held at the Royal Phuket Marina Exhibition and Conference centre.

The largest Boat Show and most effective showcase for boating and marine leisure in the region, in its seventh year now, this event will prove to be another great success and great event not to be missed by Boating enthusiasts and families.

Derani Yachts will be attending and of course showcasing a selection of prestigious boats at the show.

2800 Nautical miles to Phuket

In June of this year, a new Selene 66 sailed from Hong Kong via the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and arrived in Phuket Yacht Haven in early August.

The journey of some 2800 Nautical mile was recorded and as this time of the year presents generally poor weather conditions for most of the trip, the boat handled the big seas very well and it was a shake-down cruise that tested all systems and crew to the limit.

Now the Selene 66 is moored in Yacht Haven Marina and awaiting the owners return to Thailand for new adventures in the Andaman region. More...
